Amid wide speculations about how the new Barcelona’s forward line would look like or would it bring any advantage for it by signing one of the most promising striker Neymar in the team when it already has a finest army of strikers – especially Messi in the lead. Experts still believe that it would be difficult for both strikers to harmonize their relations playing for the same team particularly looking at their dominating style of gameplay. But sidelining all these rumors, Barcelona president Sandro Rosell thinks otherwise, perhaps he says that upcoming season will show the world how two best players play with a perfect synchronization for a team irrespective of what media or others say. One of the prominent names who think otherwise is former coach Johan Cruyff who recently advised that Barcelona should now get rid of Messi coz having both in the team will create more problems for the whole team. Rosell rejected his outlooks and said, “As some say, we were lucky to sign Neymar before the Confederations Cup. Let’s just say lucky, yes. All good people understand these situations. And these are two good people.”
Ever since ex-Santo star has signed a mega million deal for Spanish giant, everyone is eager to see how these two smashes the opponent’s defense lineup in the upcoming La Liga season. Actually, arrival of Neymar also puts a doubt on other strikers’ fate of Barca who are as talented as anyone can be; the army of forwards like Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta can make any team proud of, but for Barca it is just a way to show how dominating they are in contemporary soccer. Another reason, Neymar’s stay at Camp Nou looks highly suspected is his style of play. He loves to control the ball until goalpost while Blaugrana is known for passing the ball gameplay which has ever been fruitful for them. However, both these stars are ruling out any difference among them, which is true of course, but time will tell if they can maintain their ‘healthy’ relations.
It actually doesn’t make any sense to compare the skills of Messi and Neymar as both of them are just fantastic. While Messi has a proven track record, Neymar is still growing so he needs to prove himself with his performance consistently for some time, only then it would be reasonable to compare who is better and why. At the moment, we too want to see a perfect lineup containing forwards like Messi, Neymar, Xavi, and Andres Iniesta.
