Over the few last weeks, Liverpool’s dissenting striker: Luis Suarez kept saying he is happy with his current club hence there is no truth behind the news suggesting his makeshift to somewhere else. However, no one was buying his words and assuming there must have been an ongoing talk with his aspirants, and once they reach to an agreement, player would formally announce his makeshift in public. Since transfer window is now closed, Suarez sealed his words again and said he is going to anywhere. Reportedly, some high profile clubs were being linked with the Uruguayan recently including PSG, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, and not to forget Spanish giant Real Madrid, but when no one came forward and put a luring bid for the forward, he remained an English asset. Last few months have been a kind of flip flop for the 26-year-old and he kept changing his words every now and then, but when his contract’s transfer clause expired without any taker, he got assured that there is no one who is serious about him hence it is better to stick to his old charm. Though, many experts still feel he needs to prove his loyalty for the Reds by performing in his famous style and caliber once his ten matches’ ban expires.
Right now, he is in South America for World Cup 2014 qualifiers for his national side where he said, “I still have nothing. I closed the subject a while ago. I have already taken the decision to stay at Liverpool I have just landed, and I know nothing. If I play I am the subject of people talking, if do not play it is the same…They have already put me in every team, but I have already finished with this. At that moment I said that if something happens then good, but if I was staying at Liverpool I would be delighted. This is over for a while now.”
As far his solemnity for the league club is concerned, his colleague Steven Gerrard calls him to prove that he loves being at Brendan Rodgers club from the heart, Gerrard asked, “I didn’t ever think Luis would leave – well, not to another English club anyway. I don’t want to disrespect Arsenal, because they are a fantastic club, but I don’t see joining them as being a step forward for Luis. Luis has got to openly admit this club have stood behind him on a couple of massive occasions and they’ve rewarded him with new contracts as well.”
