Every team has at least one world renowned player and when this player tries to overrule other teammates, it creates a level of discomfort within the team. Yes, we are talking about Milan’s controversial striker Mario Balotelli who has always been in the news for his non sporting behaviors, and this time, he gained the headlines for his comparison with none other than Barcelona’s Messi and said, he can win any match like Argentine international which somehow demoralizes other players. However, at the moment, he is undergoing a three matches’ suspension; two have gone by while last one is still remaining and if everything works as planned for Italian international, he can impart in the Ajax meet in the Championship League on Wednesday. Another upsetting news is that club vice president Adriano Galliani is also not supporting other players in fact he is asking for more protection for Balotelli – God knows from whom! Notably, Balotelli has always been a star performer for Milan ever since he returned back from England but his outspoken words and habit of inviting controversies is worrying the club’s think-tank. Indeed, he is now facing the similar surroundings as he has gone through in the EPL since he has almost been isolated from rest of the team coz of his arrogance.
When asked if striker needs more time to mature and understand what he is talking about, Galliani said, “Balotelli is an important player and he does not need to mature anymore because he’s already mature. He just needs to moderate his behaviour — but, at the same time, he needs to be protected like everybody else because I’ve seen fouls against him worthy of red cards that only get yellow.”
Similar advice is also issued by Coach Massimiliano Allegri who justified his ban and takes it as an opportunity to improve his future conducts. He said, “I think this ban had made him understand that he needs to behave differently. He’s going to play [against Ajax] and all he has to think about is playing football and helping his team while respecting the opponents and the referees.
“I hope the players returning from injury can help us move up a gear, and certainly when all our first-teamers are back, we’ll start marching on again.”
Actually, Milan needs him desperately hence they are even ready to afford his nonsense conducts just to revive back in the Serie A this season.
