After being in the news for more than one week for his reported clash with Barcelona bosses, Messi decided to take the charge himself and denied of having any rift either with club president or coach. Notably, many news sources recently claimed Argentinean could move out of Spain citing his clash with president over extension issue, and later, another media house also stated that there happens to be a breakdown between Messi and club coach and he has even warned the president to either let coach go or he will leave. Last month too, Messi has had a verbal fight with another club elite that was as well eagerly reportedly by everyone media house. Four-time FIFA Ballon d’Or award winner categorically refused to have any plan to move out of Camp Nou for Chelsea or Manchester City. Those, who are following this apparent spat among the Barca elite came to know from different sources that Chelsea has prepared an astonishing offer for Messi that could make him world’s priciest player beating Real Madrid’s Bale.
Many reports also claim that Messi wants the former coach Frank Rijkaard back with the team though there is no confirmation from any official source for the same. What Messi said in his possibly first reaction to the whole controversy, is, “I am thankful to be able to give my version. It’s not good for people to look for rivalry between me and Luis Enrique because there isn’t any. Don’t throw s— at us from outside because that will only do us harm.
“It hurts because it comes from people who love Barcelona. It’s people who want to hurt the club — and this time it did not come from Madrid, like other times, it has come from here. I have heard lots of things being said about me before and now. They make it look like I am the one who is in charge here when I am just another player. I have never demanded anything to stay because I don’t have any intention of going. I heard people say that my dad had spoken to Chelsea, to City. It’s all lies.”
Talking about last win over Atletico, he added, “We knew it was going to be a very difficult game and that it would mark the future. It has got difficult for us since arrived, but we went for them from the start. They are very difficult to play against. They have great players. But we controlled them.”
Even though he tried his hard to convince there is nothing wrong in the dressing room, but everyone know there should be something cooking in the backyard else no one can report the event so aggressively. Anyways, next few weeks would clear the cloud and we‘d come to know if he has any link with City or Chelsea.
