The in-form Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has made it clear he is ready to renew his contract with Turin side if he is given a lucrative extension. He informed this through his agent who says that at the moment 23-year-old sensational midfielder is not going to move anywhere else. Knowingly, Pogba who made a switch from Manchester United to Italy back in 2012, has been one of the most brilliant performers in last two seasons and for his form and ball holding technique he has been on the radar of several top notch sides including Manchester City, but Turin club apparently is not willing to let him go and reportedly they have put an unprecedented 100 million price tag for the player which is way too much for him according to some experts. After finding no realistic club, who could be ready to pay that much for him, French national is now ready to extend his stay in Italy – of course with a handsome salary hike. Although, it is not made clear from club bosses whether they are interested in enlarging his contract or they would better encash his popularity this summer with a negotiable price tag, but for the moment, it is being believed he would convince his manager to have lucrative terms.
His agent Mino Raiola said talking about his future and what he will do if does not get any interesting club who is willing to pay asking price for him, “Nothing has changed for Paul compared to a year ago. Juventus and Paul are on the same page here. If nobody can offer him an adequate project, then he’d be better off staying. In fact, we’re even ready to renew his contract. Paul has surprised me in a positive way over the past few seasons. He was a talent before, but he is the real deal now, he is a champion through and through.
“His calm and serene attitude is one of his biggest strengths, that also helped him deal with the criticism at the start of this season. He has given his best wearing the No. 10 jersey, despite some misunderstandings at the start of the season.”
Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo also has the same opinion about his colleague; he too believes, Pogba deserves world-record fee for his services, he said, “Of course, Juventus will want to keep him. But sometimes you can get to a transfer fee that you can rebuild an entire team with and he would get to that fee. At his age, you can build a team around him for the next years. If he does decide to leave, then I think it will be for a world record.”
