Another coach faced the anger of his boss after worst performance in EPL. Now, QPR took this bold step and fired its manager Mark Hughes when he could not prove his gaming excellence on the field. No matter if he was just ten months old. This EPL season has been the worst for QPR, coz it could only find itself on bottom place after playing twelve matches, and according to QPR owner Tony Fernandes, Hughes could not prove what he was hired for. Though, openly, Fernandes never stated his lacking confidence over his manager, but his strategic mind could have found him guilty of QPR’s wrong doings. According to insiders, Harry Redknapp has now been roped in as his replacement with immediate effect though he will take official charge on Sunday only. QPR informed the world about Hughes’ dismissal in a statement that reads as, “Queens Park Rangers Football Club has today terminated the contract of manager Mark Hughes with immediate effect. This decision has been taken after careful consideration by the board of directors, following numerous meetings over the last few days.
“The board of directors wish to thank Mark for his commitment, hard work and dedication in his ten months in charge,” It further added.
“Mark has shown integrity and professionalism throughout his time here, but ultimately the circumstances we find ourselves in have left the board of directors with very little choice but to make a change.
“The board will now be working actively to put a new managerial structure in place as soon as possible.
“Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki will take charge of the R’s trip to Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday afternoon.”
This EPL season seems to be too heavy on mangers; last week Chelsea fired its manger over his scanty performance, now QPR followed the same route to penalize its manger. Interestingly, new manager Redknapp has also been fired by his ex-club Tottenham in June even though he took them to fourth place last season. So, what Fernandes would have now expected from h
