Wenger is still optimistic about having a successful EPL session

Arsene Wenger

How many times in history; you have seen Arsenal is losing its touch in EPL? Rarely, yes. This season is proving to be one of those rare seasons where Arsenal is facing defeats more than its wins. Interestingly, this year has brought an all-around dearth of wins for it, coz it could not win considerable home matches as well. Its last played match was a home clash with Swansea, which looked to be a one sided affair earlier looking at their past record, but yet again, Arsenal got a surprise defeat that too by a 2-0 margin which actually stunned its top officials. Its manger Arsene Wenger is considered one of the best managers in town, but even he can’t convert those raining defeats into wins. However, he is still optimistic of performing well in EPL if they could show their brilliance of soccer in the remaining matches. Besides a low down space on the EPL leaderboard, Arsenal is also suffering a major blow by missing its chairman, who has suffered a heart attack recently.

Anyways, despite the fact that the gunners could only snatch 12 out of 30 maximum points in their played matches, its manager is much hopeful that his team would outcast its bad performances happened this season. Moreover, even Arsenal players are seemed to be losing their control watching their team losing matches one after another. In last match, Wenger listened his hooting, probably first time, from the crowd after they could not survive in their home clash. When he was asked about if he is concerned about his team’s extremity place in the leaderboard, he said, “Of course. But I’m not as worried about the places. We need to get the quality of our game back. The quality of our game wasn’t there. But I’m in this job to turn it round and I’m confident we will.”

When he was asked about his probable resignation after a miserable EPL season, he politely replied, “Not at all. You make your assessment at the end of the season. I know we’ve got unrest everywhere. It’s a good opportunity to stick together and show we’re a strong club.” So, he looks to be quite positive for rest of the matches, let’s see if he can live upto his promises and stretch his team on a top position in EPL’s ranking table.
