April 3, 2015 by 888Scoreonline

Young and promising players are always in the news for reported interests shown in by some of the giant clubs in contemporary soccer and Liverpool’s 29-year-old forward Raheem Sterling is one such player who remains in the news for good reasons. Recently, he said to have pleased with the apparent interest shown by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and then he even hinted to leave Anfield if any luring offer comes to his way. Initially, the reports were neither approved nor condemned by anyone but now Arsenal manager has refused to accept he is after Jamaican player, in fact, he also denied of having any interest in Palermo forward Paulo Dybala. Notably, both the players have recently been on radar of few dominating sides that include Emirates side as well but after Frenchman refusal, fans expect Sterling to remain at the side he currently is with. Generally, these kinds of rumors spread ahead of any game that is about to happen between both such sides and if we look at upcoming fixtures, both Arsenal and Liverpool are going to meet this weekend and latest revelation from 65-year-old could nothing but a part of well-planned mind game.

Talking about if he is aspiring for the Reds forward, he said in a press conference, “Look, I do not want to speak about any moves. We are not in a transfer window and we are in front of a big game. I respect Liverpool and do not want to go into any supposed move for any of their players. Raheem Sterling is a top player. Everybody knows that in the country now. He is an important player for Liverpool. I don’t want to interfere in that 48 hours before a match. That is down to Liverpool. It’s not my problem.”

Likewise adding about Palermo forward and its president’s recent affirmation that league side has placed some €40m for their player, Wenger said, “Ask him to show you the offer. I had a chat with him and told him how I can envisage the future. He has to make a decision. Of course, he understands completely that he has to perform and to how that he can present in a consistent way. I will see where we go from there.

“I don’t want to go into details. We have to meet again to see where we go from, but I told him what I think. It has to be linked a little bit with his presence.”
