Soccer stars think they are out of this world, and that is why they should always be treated with greater care and respect, and when this doesn’t happen to them; they start raising questions about their sovereignty. Gonzalo Higuaín, a well-known Argentinian forward who plays for Italian club Napoli, got some deep scratches on his face recently when he was trying to get off from a yacht at Campania coast. His injury was enough for an immediate treatment; perhaps he badly needed some stiches on his face, so he rushed to a nearby Capilupi hospital where he got the required treatment, and here started the problem. Reportedly, his stiches were so badly executed that his face was looking really awkward, in fact, it looked like an experimental job by a novice medicare personal and when his photo was viewed by club chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis, he got angry and called his solicitor to file a €100m medical claim on the hospital. This is actually a unique case in soccer fraternity in itself … [Read more...]
Manchester United expands its arms to Indian subcontinent
India is the third largest democratic country in the world and that is why it has the second largest population too, but looking at the level of soccer in this part of the world, it is rather pity, however, there is no scarcity of fans loving English Premier League; perhaps there are more fans in India for league matches than anywhere else. Wenger praises Aaron Ramsey
It is not very common in soccer to see a legendry manager praising a particular player openly, especially if the same player has been criticized for his fading performances off late. It actually does not matter how you play or what your record has been in recent times, coz if your manager is backing you, no one can raise a finger on you. It holds true for 22-year-old Welshman Aaron Ramsey who has been an eye candy for Arsenal few years ago, but off late, he was widely condemned by club loyalists for various reasons. But the good news is, Arsene Wenger has come forward in his support and said, he deserves a huge credit from his side for whatever he has done for the league club. Obviously, an open support means a confirmed place in the team, but it still depends upon how club fans take him ignoring his recent performances. Wenger also acknowledged his own failure to recognize the finest soccer talents he already has in his squad while trying to sign more and more players in the last … [Read more...]
