Probably, in one of the biggest raids in soccer history, El Salvador’s anti-corruption wing officials raided as many as eleven players simultaneously after they suspected to be involved in match fixing. Reportedly, the action followed by governing body’s suspension of 22 players for their alleged connection in match fixing, money laundering, and cheating. The raid is said to be for collecting supporting evidence in six cities and authorities seized players’ cell phones, laptops, and other electronic gadgets supposed to have inside information for their money transfers. Their national and international bank accounts are also clutched down to avoid any contamination to the evidence. This is an incredible turnaround, much above everyone’s expectations; in fact, site was overloaded several times in initial hour. Southampton signs Pablo Osvaldo
Once EPL season starts, every club tries to keep itself busy and in the headlines for one reason or another. Southampton, a south coast based club, has won its opener in the current season defeating West Brom by a late penalty goal, and now they are again strengthening their army by enforcing more meat into it. Reportedly, St Mary based club has signed Roma forward Pablo Osvaldo on a four year deal. The deal is said to be taken place on Sunday though it was in discussion for quite some time now.
