David Beckham to own a MLS club

May 19, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Former England captain David Beckham is being roared with offers since he announced his retirement few days ago and one of them is his role changeover for his current playing team PSG while he seems to be interested in owning his own club rather serving someone else. He, in fact, is among the players who always standby with their words and Beckham has said on several occasions that he wants to promote soccer in the US, and that is why, when he was with Los Angeles Galaxy, he deliberately added a clause in the contract where he would have to be the preferred buyer if Galaxy expends its franchisee in the future. Now, Beckham has exercised his that option and in talks with MLS officials over his possible club. Dan Courtemanche, MLS executive vice-president of communications, also confirmed this development by saying, “There have been preliminary discussions with his advisors. At some point in time he will exercise that option and we can go through the process of making sure it is the … [Read more...]

May 18, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Manchester United and Manchester City are the two biggest rivals of contemporary soccer and their managers are also known for their aggressive remarks about each other whenever they get an opportunity to. Recently, United’s manager decided to retire from his managerial duties after serving for more than three decades while his rival manager is also gone with the winds but not in a way he would like to be, perhaps he was apparently fired by the club for not defending their EPL crown. Madrid lost Copa del Rey final to Atletico Madrid

1 - 2 In an action pack Copa del Rey final Real Madrid lost by 2-1 to Atletico Madrid despite taking the lead at one stage. Starlet Ronaldo put Real on top when he capitalized Mesut Ozil's corner through his header, but Diego Costa did not waste any time in leveling this initial lead. It was rather a bad defense to allow them to equalize so early otherwise Real’s lead could have been there for a longer time. The match was so tight till the end that no team could score another goal in the first ninety minutes thereafter hence match has to be extended to extra time where, in 98th minute, Joao Miranda’s header on Koke’s cross secured a legendary victory for Atletico. It was more a worst news for Real manager Mourinho which has already hinted to leave the club after this season. In fact, this is the first season in his stay at Madrid that he ended without having any silverware. During his stay, he won three titles: a La Liga title in 2011-12, a Copa del Rey in 2010-11, and one Spanish … [Read more...]
