Frank Lampard sets up new record, pushes Chelsea into Champions League
Chelsea’s midfielder Frank Lampard has achieved a milestone by becoming the highest goals’ scorer for his club beating Bobby Tambling's record of 202 goals. He also played the lead role in away match with Aston Villa on Saturday by scoring both goals for his side. His goals came on the right time coz Chelsea was trailing with 1-0 at one stage but when Lampard struck a goal in 61st minute and then a winner in the 88 minutes, it was confirmed that Blues would play in the Champions League. It was a dream for his temporary manager to finish at least in the top four, and he did it in style thanks to the record breaking performance by Frank Lampard. Rumors were everywhere about who will replace the high profile United manager ever since he announced his retirement post this season.
