It was the night of stars at Camp Nou on Tuesday where two arch rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona faced each other in the Spanish league Copa del Rey’s semifinal. Diego Maradona enters Italy after eight-year of tax exile
Diego Maradona finally entered into Italian soil after a gap of eight years and welcomed whole heartedly by the fans there. He has been serving an exile from Italy after his name was linked up with mafia and also alleged for taking drugs. Gattuso becomes player-coach of Swiss club FC Sion
There have been many cases in the past where a player is appointed to serve in a dual role, i.e., serving as coach alongside a player. This time, this is something that happened to former AC Milan player Gennaro Gattuso who joined Swiss club FC Sion last year. His amazed promotion is the surprised demotion of club’s manager Victor Munoz who will now serve on other duties for the club. Interestingly, Munoz has not been fired by the president while initially it was assumed he will have to go after team’s terrible performance in the Swiss Super League; perhaps their last 4-0 loss on Sunday required urgent action from the management; hence he is demoted to serve in other capacity. A series of new ads features him playing other sports with their legendary players and overcoming them using his brilliant soccer skills. Perhaps, new ads show him playing cricket, basketball and table tennis.
