Manchester United enjoying its roaring stock for the first time since it went public in August last year; its stock has soared by more than 24% in two weeks to redefine the valuation of English club. Record wise, it has now crossed the 3 billion mark and become the first sport’s club in the history to reach that level. Keita proposes a bonus for teammates

Messi and Ronaldo are on fire in La Liga
Spanish league La Liga is heating up as its two strongest contenders Barcelona and Real Madrid’s have tightened their grips over opponents. Sunday was the day of two brightest soccer players of contemporary soccer: Lionel Messi of Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid when they crushed their opponents with a power pack display on Sunday. While, Barcelona defeated 10-man Osasuna by a comprehensive margin of 5-1; its arch rival Real Madrid is not far behind; it also overpowered Getafe by 4-0. Casillas axed for up to 12 weeks for his hand fracture
La Liga club Real Madrid would surely be dreaming to defeat its arch rival Barcelona in coming weeks, but it would have never imagined that it would have to do the task without its ace goalie. Madrid first goalkeeper and captain Casillas got his left hand fractured when he collided with teammate Alvaro Arbeloa accidentally in his attempt to recuse the ball during Wednesday’s 1-1 tie with Valencia in the Spanish Cup. Later, his injury found to be serious one and he had to undergo a surgery immediately. Having a bone surgery means laid off for at least 12 weeks; hence he will also miss the field for a similar term. His club issued a statement containing doctor’s brief about the injury; statement scripted by chief medical officer Carlos Diez reads as, “The period of unavailability is between eight and 12 weeks. January transfer window should be reduced or abolished: Arsene Wenger
While most of the clubs are busy in drafting their buy out deals in running transfer window, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has intensified another issue regarding completely banning or at least reducing January transfer window. Interestingly, another high profile soccer official, UEFA president Michel Platini, is also in his support for such a move. Wenger has a reason for his demand; he finds lots of players and coaches live in a dilemma throughout the season about whether they will stay for their teams they have started with or not. Such uncertainty obviously effects their involvement with the game and downgrades their match performances.
