Arizona Sports Betting Numbers Impress Analysts
Early this week, the Arizona Department of Gaming released a report showing how much money Arizona sportsbooks handled in April 2022. According to the authority, $512.9 million in wagers was recorded. Despite the fact that the April total was a 25.8% decrease from March 2022’s record-total of close to $700 million, analysts are nevertheless impressed with the state’s progress. It was reported that Arizona had the sixth-largest handle in the US during April, an excellent number considering that its sports book market is still in its fledging stages and that it only launched in September last year. According to the director of the Arizona Department of Gaming, Ted Vogt: “Event wagering levels continue to look strong in Arizona, with over half a billion dollars wagered during April. I am excited to see how the state closes out its first year of legal event wagering in the coming months.” Key Points from the Arizona Sports Handle Report Adjusted gross sports betting revenue for … [Read more...]
N’Golo Kante may be missing ‘ the personality of a leader’ – Frank Leboeuf
Every player has a dream that someday he would be given a chance to lead the side after retirement but not everyone has the gut to take on that pressure and there are many who start talking about the same to their favorite players who are still playing. Former Chelsea star Frank Leboeuf is one such mentor who wants this happens to N'Golo Kante but says he is too shy to be "a boss" of the Blues squad. If we look at the performance of the France international he has featured in all but one of Chelsea's Premier League matches this season, that makes him one of manager Antonio Conte's key players, yet he misses the quality of dressing room leader. Talking about his babay, Leboeuf, who won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 with France, said, Is he a 'boss' at heart? I don't think so. He's an extraordinary soldier, a warrior, but he doesn't have the personality nor the stature of a leader. “At Chelsea, in the middle of the stars, he's the indispensable man and Conte counts on him, but … [Read more...]
Roy Hodgson exhausts his anger now over ‘dishonest’ critics for England’s Euro 2016 exit
Legendary mentors don’t forget the dishonesty by key critics for some reasons they had to face during a big soccer event. Yes, we are taking about England and its former boss Roy Hodgson who has now openly hit out at "dishonest" criticism of his management at Euro 2016 performance last summer that was possibly in his knowledge right from the day. England got out of the tournament shocking 2-1 loss to minnows Iceland at the round-of-16 stage in France that closed all the doors for his side and he took the responsibility and left the job. Talking about the issue in great length, he said in his recent interview, “I was totally uninterested in those type of comments, which I regard as purely irrelevant and dishonest. No one whose opinion I respect would have said anything like that, otherwise I would have heard about it. “I certainly didn't feel suicidal and I certainly didn't feel self-doubt either because I think probably the four years, especially the last two years after the … [Read more...]
