Real Sociedad acknowledges fans by screening their names on T-shirts

Real Sociedad is having a dream run in La Liga series this season where it is still unbeaten even after playing seven games. This is one of their best performances in Spanish football league in many years. Leave apart what they are doing on the field; let’s talk about one of their elite initiatives where Donostia based club is acknowledging its fans by wearing t-shirts appearing names of its members. This is one of the most innovative ideas to say ‘thank you’ to fans across the globe. Clubs around the world prefer to design their t-shirts with sponsors’ logo and tags, but Sociedad has probably become the first club who has taken a step to recognize its fans in a unique way. Since, the club has more than 25000 members, final names to be printed on t-shirts will be chosen at random. Moreover, another batch of members’ names has also been finalized to be shown by the players in a TV commercial. Hence, there would be 44 lucky members of the club, 22 names of them would be featured in a TV … [Read more...]

Alexandre Pato could make a shift to Corinthians

AC Milan and Brazil’s striker Alexandre Pato could make a shift from his existing club to newly crowned World Champions Corinthians. Milan’s CEO has confirmed of receiving an offer for both of Brazilian players Alexandre Pato and Robinho. He admitted that he would do everything he can to ensure at least Robinho stays with them. Furthermore, he also said that if, in case, they both decide to make a shift to their national club, Milan will not seek any replacement for them. Galliani told a Channel here in Milan that “An offer has arrived for Pato. Basically, in defence and midfield we will not be signing anyone and if Pato and Robinho remain - or if only one leaves - then we won’t bring in any replacements. “We believe the right number of strikers to have is five, as if two new ones arrive, then there won’t be space for M’Baye Niang. We’re doing everything to keep hold of Robinho, although I am not certain that we’ll succeed. “He is happy to stay here and has a wonderful rapport … [Read more...]

Shocking manifesto by Zenit fans club Landscrona

December 20, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

Everyone will agree on the fact that racism needs to be cut out from soccer, and there are countless measures being taken out in various parts of the world to eradicate this anti human aspect of the game. Another dark area of soccer, or perhaps any other sport, is sexuality of players, coz LGTB players have ever been a part of every traditional sport including soccer. Now, a controversy seems to be arising from the den of two-time defending Russian champion Zenit St. Petersburg’s fans club Landscrona, who released their manifesto last Monday asking for a complete ban on nonwhite players along with gay ones. It is one of shocking revelation by one of the biggest soccer fans club in the world, however, for the time being, club has departed itself from this manifesto describing it as anti-humanity, but on the other side, fans are in no mood to change their mind or demands. For them, gay players are unworthy of their great city, while ‘dark-skinned players are all but forced down Zenit's … [Read more...]
