James McClean, an Ireland national soccer player who also plays for Premier League club Sunderland, claims to have received death threats when he refuses to wear a Remembrance Day Poppy over his t-shirt. Sunderland’s manager informed about this after a recent game against Fulham at Craven Cottage. He told how James was barracked by some supporters last day over his decision not to wear poppies. He told, “James will deal with it," and said. "I think it's probably to do with the issue of last week. It's a free choice in this world. Former ManU Winger Kenny Morgans Died at 73
Kenny Morgans, who was commonly known as survivor of Munich air disaster happened in 1958, died at an age of 73. The former Manchester United’s winger died in a hospital where he was taken to after he complained of a sudden unwell feeling last Saturday night. Manchester United later issued its deep hearted condolences to his family and friends. United’s spokesman said in an issued statement, “Staff at the club send their deepest condolences to Kenny’s family and friends.” Kenny started his soccer career at an age of eighteen years when he played his first match for Manchester United against Leicester City in 1957. Later, he played 23 matches for his first ManU team. His lifetime survival came just two months after his debut when he travelled to Belgrade and his team's plane crashed in Munich when returning after refueling. Chelsea skipper out for three weeks
John Terry is a most famous name these days as far Chelsea is concerned but for erroneous reasons. For now, there are no allegations leveled against him nor has he used any racial abusive language to anyone. Let’s keep it simple, John Terry, Chelsea’s skipper, is out for at least three weeks after he injured his knee when he collided with Luis Suarez in 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Sunday. His injury looked serious initially when he was taken off the field on a stretcher, but later, injury was not found as serious as it was predicted earlier. Barca’s forward Alexis Sanchez ruled out for four weeks
FC Barcelona will miss the services of its forward Alexis Sanchez for at least four weeks, coz he injured his knee in a match between his national Chile and Serbia on Wednesday. He got his injury after just twenty minutes of the game when he collided with Serbian Luka Milivojevic. He was then forced to leave the ground and taken over by Manchester United's Angelo Henriquez, who played his first full on international and also scored in his international debut. It looked a minor knee injury initially, but later a scan revealed how he damaged his right ligament which would take around four weeks to heal. Next four weeks are too busy for Barcelona where it has to clash with Real Zaragoza, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Alaves, Athletic Bilbao, Betis, Levante, and Atletico Madrid, and if he could not recover as expected, it would be a huge setback for Barca.
