Levein Pays for Scots Poor Performance in WC Qualifiers

November 8, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

Scotland could have been dreaming of its world cup entry until recently, but after its poor run in world cup qualifiers; it has very little chances to make its dreams true. It is all because of just two points it earned out of four played matches in Group A. Basically; it was the best chance for Scotland to play in the biggest soccer event after 1998, but unfortunately; Scots will only be the spectators this time too. The line of fire, which is responsible for this performance, includes its coach Craig Levein although; there was some time left in his three years contract with Scots. Actually, during his tenure as coach, Scotland losses ten places in FIFA ranking apart from winning just three matches out of 12 matches played under his mentorship. The surprise decision came on Monday when he was informed about his dismissal from the job, in the meantime, Billy Stark, the under 21 coach, will take over his duty until a replacement is found. This is perhaps the first major performance … [Read more...]

Arsenal is looking for a taker of Brazilian defender Andre Santos

Brazilian defender Andre Santos became more popular for not so good reasons in Arsenal’s premium league clash with Manchester United when he swapped his t-shirt with his ex-teammate Robin van Persie in public, especially when his team was trailing by 1-0. It was not the first time when Brazilian midfielder showed his not so professional attitude in field, perhaps his out of form has now become a major concern for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who now seems to be determined to sell him out in coming transfer window, if he manages to find a buyer. It is also learned that Santos will surely be axed from Gunner’s final squad for their upcoming Champions League match against Schalke on Tuesday night. However, Wenger backed him publicly by saying that his T shirt swap in the middle is not commendable but it did not contribute to his side’s bad performance. What he said about all this was, “I spoke about that but I don't want to make too much of a big story of that," he told reporters on … [Read more...]

November 6, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

Dinamo Zagreb’s fans are banned by French Government from attending a Champions League match between Dinamo Zagreb and Paris St Germain scheduled to play on coming Wednesday. This decision is taken by French Interior Minister Manuel Valls who has a reason to believe that if these fans are allowed; they can make a disturbance in one way or other. Perhaps, Croatian authorities themselves have provided them an information about a gang named ‘Blue Bad Boys’ whose members have planned to travel and attend the match without tickets and with unfold intensions. Valls also explained the ban period which is from November 6 at midnight to November 7 at noon. Since, the so called gang has the history of violence in many previous matches; French government doesn’t want to take any risk that could cause a danger on its civilians or property. Accordingly, some 80 PSG fans were stopped on their way to Paris on the border from Slovenia; they were traveling on their rented cars. Hooligans have … [Read more...]
