Lokomotiv Plovdiv’s players to undergo a lie detector test after a surprise defeat

It’s a whole new beginning to eradicate match fixing from the soccer world and its initiator is not Brazil or Spain but Lokomotiv Plovdiv’s owner: Veselin Mareshki, who has ordered a lie detector test for its team’s players and coach after they lost a surprised match against bottom side Botev Vratsa by 1-0. The winning team Botev Vratsa has already lost five consecutive matches in current season hence its surprised win has raised many concerns of a probable match fixing. To find out any unwanted reason of this defeat, a lie detector test has been ordered. The said match fixing allegations have taken a surge after a prosecutor initiated his investigations recently on four matches played this season that were suspected to be fixed. Bulgarian Football Union has promised to provide every possible support that could lead to find the final offender if there founds to be a behind the scene fixing. Lokomotiv is one of the oldest Bulgarian football clubs having its root back in 1926 and since … [Read more...]

How Premier league’s matches leave their impact on fans’ mind was shown on Sunday after Liverpool and Manchester United match where Manchester United defeated Liverpool by a decisive last minute goal through a penalty rewarded by referee Mark Halsey to Robin van Persie. Cagliari vs. Roma, Roma awarded default 0-3 win

September 25, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

0 - 3 Few days back, news about Roma and Cagliari spread in soccer world where their match was postponed for on-ground security reasons in Serie A. Now, unfortunately that match has been forfeited by the authorities for the same reason and Roma has been rewarded default win with a comprehensive 0-3 margin. This is probably the first time in current Serie A where a match has been abandoned completely and a team has been given a benefit out of it. Basically, as told on several occasions, the stadium Is Arenas is the main reason for this match’s postponement on two occasions. When match could not be passible on Sunday, authorities decided to cancel the match and declare Roma as winner. Is Arenas and its home crowd is known for its misconducts, security breach, and uncontrolled hooting, even we have seen this ground does not have proper security arrangements to control out of control crowd which has been proven on several occasions in the past. Messi and Villa: No conflict between them

La Liga 2012-13 has shown us many surprises and one of them is recent infield spat between FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and David Villa where, apparently, Lionel Messi was yelling on David Villa over some issue. Actually, everybody saw what happened on the ground and everybody is surprised to see a cool player like Messi is behaving like this. Basically, there could be several reasons for such loss of control on the field: one could be, that match between Barcelona and Granada brought many shocks like Messi’s inability to score a goal even after getting so many chances. Perhaps, after the brilliant display of soccer, Barcelona could not fire a goal until 87th minute, this delay and frustration could be the reason for uncontrolled behavior of Messi. Otherwise, we have seen him showing great level of comfort even during many embracing situations, like in the last match when referee dismissed a penalty, we saw him smiling on that decision. So, how comes a 25 years old start footballer … [Read more...]

John George Terry, the former captain of England’s national football team and Chelsea has decided to finally quite the international football over his racial criticisms in the recent past. Considering his age of just 31 years, England has lost an elite member of its national team and all coz of his own on/off field behaviors. John Terry has several charges of racial remarks and one of them was against Anton Ferdinand in a match between Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers last October.
