Wayne Rooney is expected to be fit by next week

Manchester United has been missing two of their key players due to their injuries. Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young both are undergoing their treatments hence they are not likely to be available for Manchester United this weekend. However, by next week, Wayne Rooney is expected to be fit and fine as declared by MU boss Sir Alex Ferguson. He told in a press conference held at Carrington where he talked about his two main injured players and told about his team’s strategy for next matches. He also made it clear that all players, who played on Wednesday, are available for the next match against Liverpool on Sunday. He also ruled out any possibility of Rooney to return by this Sunday and hinted his sure recovery by next week. As Rooney is expected to return by next week, another injured player Ashley Young is yet to recover from his bruised cartilage for which he could take another two to three weeks. Luisao’s Ban extended to cover all competitions

Brazilian footballer and Benfica’s central defender: Ânderson Luís da Silva’s ban has been extended to cover every competition played anywhere worldwide by FIFA’s governing body as a disciplinary measure for his violent act against the referee in a friendly match against Dusseldorf last month. FIFA has taken this action in tune with its disciplinary code’s article 136 which deals with any intolerable act by any player within the field. As a result, Luisao will not be able to play any match, club level or international, during his ban period of two months. Further, during the investigation, if there happens to be further warranted action; his ban can further be extended for another period which can either be parallel to his initial two month’s ban or after the expiry of first two months. However, it was rather a sad or some call it an unlucky day for Everton, coz there were many decisions which happened to be against them but anyhow this is the excitement of an ideal Premier League match that seamlessly displayed why this series is so favorite and charming. Last night, the final result was a 2-2 draw though during the whole match Everton were the predicted winners, perhaps they would have won the match if some decisions have not gone against them. Even, there were two headers which were legal goals in many eyes but in the eyes of assistant referee they both were offside.
