Louis van Gaal looks forward for Dutch players

August 12, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Manchester United and its newly appointed manager Van Gaal both have been in the news ever since Dutchman agreed to join the league club facing lots of troubles - from players form to low confidence. Like any other team or club, he was also instructed not to sign his own countrymen for some time which he objected when arrived to England and now he is granted permission to bring his favorite players from around the world if he needs them. However, he is also advised not to buy players for the sake of buying perhaps only target those who can fit into his dream team. This is noteworthy that former Netherlands boss’s first preseason tour of America has been successful and lined up United among the favorites to lift English topflight again, but it would be interested to see how this highly demotivated team of world class players perform in first few months of 2014-15 league season. Manchester City sign Eliaquim Mangala for £32m

August 12, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Moving in line to his earlier promises, Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is not stopping signing new players to add more options into every segment of the field. Accordingly, he signed Porto defender 23-year-old Eliaquim Mangala at somewhere around 32 million pounds which is understandably way too exaggerated considering his form and skills. Tenure of the current deal as reported by some media houses is five years with a special clause that obliges the club to pay more if Mangala performs well in upcoming English premier league. Notwithstanding what is being said about the new City entrant, Pellegrini believes he has all the potentials to become one of the finest defenders across Europe hence his side made no mistake in hiring him for the betterment of Man City. Though, the deal is paper down now, but it had been in process since January, in fact, most the things had already been finalized except the salary which is lastly agreed after a long discussion between top officials … [Read more...]

Former legendry United goalie Peter Schmeichel also thinks United, under the experienced guidelines of Dutch international, would perform brilliantly in the upcoming English season. Had anyone else said it, everyone took it just another confident statement by a United fan, but Schmeichel is not an ordinary name; he has been the most successful man in front of the goal post for United with participation in five league titles, three FA cups, and one Championship silverware along with being the world’s best goalie for two straight years back in 1992 and 93. Miroslav Klose retires off international soccer

August 11, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Legendry players always dream to announce their retirement after the world cup, and sometimes they intentionally wait for the FIFA event just to enhance their lifetime achievements in this global event. If we are talking about a world cup, imagine how pleasing it would have been to be named as the highest goals scorer over here and that is why 36-year-old German forward Miroslav Klose had been waiting for the Brazilian tourney. Though, he had been impressive in the tourney despite his age and all that but significantly he would be known for his unprecedented feat, i.e., he is now the highest goals scorer in the world cup. He broke the record until held by Brazilian Rolando and enlisted his name into all-time legendry players of the world. After achieving whatever he ever desired from the game, Klose finally said goodbye to international soccer which means he would not be available for the national team, however, would continue playing at club level – if he is needed anymore! He … [Read more...]
