After days of curiosity and excitement, Manchester City finally triumph the Premier League title – their second in three years. Their title hopes were fluctuating like a pendulum since last one week coz of their neck to neck score fight with other teams especially Liverpool, but Samir Nasri and Vincent Kompany ensured that this year belongs to them. City won the last game of the year with a comfortable 2-0 margin and both scorers of the game proved why they have been ruling the English season this year. Manchester City not willing to accept FFP violations easily
On one hand, Manchester City is fighting to rule the English Premier League, while on the other hand; UEFA is sharpening its weapons to convict it for breaching FFP guidelines. Notably, City has been among the some top notch soccer brands who were found breaching the cost controlling guidelines off late and then European governing body gave them two options: either to accept the monetary penalties or face an action which could include refraining English giant to sign more players in upcoming transfer windows. Off late, we have seen some nasty acts of racisms not only in the stadiums but also on the play areas where targeted players somehow managed to answer deliberated fans’ moves with patience and intelligence - remember banana eating incident from Dani Alves who was widely appreciated from every corner? It now seems to be getting into fashion as we saw another instance where a player - Papakouli Diop from Levante – did something like this again when he did a brief dance after being gestured like a monkey from the stands. Actually, having these kinds of unwelcome signs is not new in soccer as we see them every other day, but what is new is the reaction from the player which was unusual in this case.
