Bale is too pricy for Real Madrid president

August 9, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

How things change in the world of football is perfect illustrated by Spanish giant Real Madrid. Until few days ago, they were apparently ready to shell out 100 million for Tottenham star Bale, but suddenly, something wrong comes in their way and now they are stating a completely different story about the Welshman. This time, Real president has passed a statement which matters the most as he said he finds asking price for the midfielder too high for them. His remarks are surprising especially at the time when everyone had expected La Liga club to break its own record they set up in 2009 via Ronaldo. Over the last few weeks, there seemed to be a virtual fight between Real Madrid and League club coz Bale and Real both wanted to bring him to Spain while English club wanted nothing less than a record breaking price for their eye candy. President Florentino Perez has a strong feeling that, for the time being, he is not ready to pay any price near 100 million barriers though he accepted that talks are being taken place in the backyard.

Telling about how key personnel at the club see this deal, he said, “We are talking with a lot of people and we will see what comes of our negotiations, I am talking about that player and others. I do not want to talk about players out of respect to the player himself, the club and the chairman who is a friend of mine and with whom I struck up a good friendship last summer because of the transfer of Luka Modric. If we’re not talking about names, we’re not talking about money either, but 100 million seems a lot to me. But I am not talking seriously because there is no need and, as I said, out of respect for the club.”

It could also be a tactic to build a pressure over Tottenham coz Real is known for using ‘other’ means if it is failing on the front end. Anyway, president also talked about Ronaldo future with them and confidently said he will surely finish his contract term residing at Santiago Bernabeu. Though, he did not hint any extension for the Portuguese, he sees good chances to resolve the matter without publicizing in the public. He added, “No. We are all convinced he will finish his sporting career at Real Madrid. I think by the end of summer we will try to resolve this matter.”
