Cacau is out for at least three months for his Ligaments injury

October 18, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

Cacau

This is not a good news: neither for Brazil nor for Stuttgart coz German fast pace sticker: Cacau has got an injury that could let him out of the field for at least three months. The injury said to be taken by him on Wednesday during a training session when he cruciates his knee ligaments along with breaking his both medial. The 31 years old Brazilian German clashed with defender Antonio Ruediger during practice and broke both his medial. As a precautionary measure, and to avoid any possible surgery, Cacau will have to wear special splint throughout his recovery period to prevent any open surgery. It’s a misfortune of his club that he got injured at a time when Stuttgart is about to clash with Hamburg on Sunday. Cacau has played five matches in current Bundesliga season and fired one goal in a draw match at Bremen. Even Stuttgart’s position is not good in the league, coz it is placed at 15th position out of 18 participated teams. Performance wise too, Stuttgart has won only one out of its seven played matches.

Cacau was born in Brazil and migrated to Germany and got his German citizenship in February 2009. He has since played 23 international matches for Germany and last international match he played was in 2010 FIFA world cup, and later in May this year, when Germany was defeated by Switzerland by 5-3 in a friendly match and since he has not been a part of German’s national team. Yet, he was continuously playing for Stuttgart, perhaps, in no time; he became the key player of it. Even, Stuttgart is not shying away to provide him any needed help, Stuttgart’s director of sport: Fredi Bobic said, “This is obviously very bitter for us and I’m really sorry for Cacau.”

“We will support him with everything we can do,” he added.

“We’re thinking positively and we are hoping that he won’t need an operation.”

Doctors are taking every preventive measure to avoid a need of an operation coz if an operation takes place, Cacau may or may not be able to play again coz his injury has already widened his Ligaments. Anyways, Cacau has ever been a fighter and this time too he is expected to recover very soon. A special splint will support him for next three months and then his situation will be evaluated to know the exact status, and if needed, he can be subjected to a further precautionary period with a splint.
