Galaxy begins MLS season with a 4-0 win over Chicago Fire

March 5, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

MLS club Los Angeles Galaxy was more popular coz of England captain Beckham last season and everybody thought at that time that post Beckham will not be so exiting for the Bruce Arena club. But on the contrary, it proved all predictions wrong and started its new MLS season with a striking victory over Chicago Fire, moreover, the victory carried on by a single player: Mike Magee who scored a hat trick by finding the net for three times during the match. Chicago Fire could not retaliate; perhaps they were not able to coz of the power pack soccer display by Galaxy. Notably, Galaxy has won MLS title two times in the past and if they continue their winning streak in similar fashion, they would surely put a tough challenge before all other participants. Magee carried the game on his shoulders right from the beginning, he fired first goal in the 38th minute by a deflected cross. Second one came in the 68th minute when he converted Robbie Keane’s pass into a goal. His last one came in the 74th … [Read more...]
