Clash of the titans for FIFA’s Ballon d’Or award

October 29, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

FIFA's Ballon d'Or award has ever been a hot commodity among players coz of genuineness and pride associated with it. Who will take it home this year is again the question being asked by everyone and guess what FIFA also revealed probable names today. The list contains 23 top contenders of contemporary soccer, including Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Bale, Iniesta, and Liverpool’s headliner Luis Suarez, among others. Among all, Real’s steepest stone Gareth Bale is the man to look for coz he just broke the record and became the priciest soccer player on this planet breaking Ronaldo’s record. The winner will be chosen by all the notables of the game including coaches, captains, and sports journalists on January 13. Spurs manager criticizes fans despite a late win over Hull City

October 28, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It is rare to see in soccer that managers are criticizing behavior of their own fans, especially when their team is winning. Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is one such person who is known for throwing his hard words on anyone whom he finds a hurdle, and this time he seems to be angry over Spurs fans coz none of the home crowd did help his team win their last nail biting finish over the Hull City. That match was almost leveled until the end, but thanks to Roberto Soldado’s late penalty that earned them full points and took on the fourth place in the leaderboard. This is not the first time Soldado has done the magic for White Hart Lane club as he has done this on two more occasions earlier this season. Though, he praised his men but openly blamed his own fans for not helping him either way otherwise they would have won with a bigger difference. According to him, most of the fans were nervous about the game and this anxiety was also being transformed into the players, but thanks to … [Read more...]

Wenger calls PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic better than Messi and Ronaldo

October 28, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It is not uncommon to see a team going over the sky when it leads the league tally, coz English premier league enjoys the status of being one of the most exaggerated leagues in the world where words are more powerful than what you actually do in the field. This season, Arsenal is leading the leaderboard thanks to its brilliance show until now and that is why its manager is also on the sky. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Sweden forward who has been a successful spell this year with as many as 11 goals under his belt, is being claimed as better than Messi and Ronaldo by Arsenal manager. Apparently, this statement looks to be made out of heart not from mind or Wenger is trying to make him a hero by comparing him with two biggest soccer starlets of contemporary soccer. Frenchman’s belief on striker could be natural but he still needs to prove his worth against Messi and Ronaldo. Ibrahimovic plays for PSG and has a wonderful spell so far this season and who can forget his four brilliant goals … [Read more...]
