Ian Holloway leaves Crystal Palace with mutual consent

October 26, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Newly promoted league club Crystal Palace who joined the English topflight just recently, and guess what, it has started showing the vibes of being a league club by asking its manager Ian Holloway to leave the club –though with mutual consent. The reason being told is, as expected, their no so wanted performance in the current session where they are just second to the bottom; in fact, they lost seven of their first eight games in the Premiere league. This is not the first time to see a firing treatment given to a manager as we have seen in the past how top clubs thrown their top officials out for not delivering the results. The news of his ousted was announced in a hurriedly called press conference in central London on Wednesday; club Chairman Steve Parish joined the press meet and informed about their secretly made arrangements with 50-year-old former manager though without mentioning the exact reason for his departure. What he added in his statement is, “Ian's contract at Crystal … [Read more...]

Jose satisfies with performance in Champions League

October 24, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Chelsea has surely become more promising ever since their former Jose Mourinho has joined them, and this visible change continues on their European tour as well. Though, their start was not so appealing, but they somehow manage to come back in form and topped the Group E which also ensures they will qualify for the knockout stage – something that looked to be a distanced dream initially. How confident they are growing is obvious with their commanding 3-0 victory over Schalke in the Champions league. Jose admires his team’s confident comeback after a dismissible 2-1 loss to Basel at Stamford Bridge which had sunned their chances to advance to second stage, but now, 50-year-old Portuguese is jubilant by looking Blues run in EPL as well in CL. How he could do that? Or what the magic words he used to rejuvenate his team? Actually, he did nothing but shown the real picture to teammates and asked them how we should reverse the things. He revealed the cult words he said to his team after … [Read more...]

October 21, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Football is undoubtedly the most popular game of sports being played around the world, yet Europe is still the base of contemporary soccer; financial facts again proved it. European governing body UEFA recently scanned balance sheets of 237 clubs under its mentorship and found that these clubs have combined wealth of around €4.9 billion spread across long term tangible assets and guess who is leading the tally, yes, it is Arsenal who disclosed more than 500 million worth of tangible assets. These facts do not mean that soccer is played only in their territory, but it means this game is taken whole heartedly in this region that is why Euro clubs could pile a wealthy balance sheet. Ferguson supports Moyes and calls for a title win

October 20, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Everyone knows how difficult it is to replace a legendry manager especially if such manager has mentored a club like Manchester United. If we scan the record book, Sir Alex Ferguson is the one person who can stun any opponent by his brilliant soccer mind. No one denies the fact that it would have been difficult for Moyes to take his position after Red Devils won Premier league last season. If we look at his initial few months at Old Trafford, he could not smell a success on any front; may it be on signing of new players in the transfer window or beginning the current league session like a winner. League’s leaderboard clearly shows how devastating United journey has been this summer so far and everyone is blaming only one person: David Moyes. No body seems to be with the new manager except the unexpected former legendry Sir Alex Ferguson who came forward in his defense when the whole world doubts his ability to mentor League defenders. Ferguson can easily guess about the mental stage … [Read more...]
