A building path between Israel and Palestine soccer relations

September 6, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Israel and Palestine are the two States with no so good democratic relations, but that doesn’t mean their soccer players do not want to play with each other - they do - but border restrictions often cause a great distress for both of them especially for Palestinian players who want to visit an Israeli occupied area for soccer events frequently. Last month, many players including FIFA officials were denied on the border to enter within Israel, later Palestinian football association asked for world governing body’s intervention into the matter; perhaps they even requested for a ban. FIFA president Sepp Blatter has ever been a person who loves to expend relations via sports not to contract them and that is why he has promised on many global events that he wants to see both these nations play each other without any political barrier; now his dreams look to be coming true coz he could successfully hold a meeting between both Israeli FA chairman and his Palestinian counterpart at FIFA … [Read more...]

Arsenal spends a record £42.4m to hire Real Mesut Ozil

September 4, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Records seem to be breaking these days as far priciest buying are concerned. Just a day after Real Madrid book Spurs’ midfielder Bale at an unprecedented amount, Arsenal also improved its own record by hiring German midfielder Mesut Ozil at a £42.4m fee which is more than club’s previous best of £15m that they paid to Zenit St Petersburg for Andrey Arshavin back in 2009. This is not a mare coincident that Ozil is being snatched from the Real’s den by the Premier League club; perhaps it is a well-planned long term strategy by Arsène Wenger. Gunners looked to be exaggerated at the end of transfer window coz they also hired a new goalie Emiliano Viviano along with a failed attempt to convince Chelsea to sign their striker Demba Ba. Besides this, there were more high profile unsuccessful attempts as well especially that of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. Actually, final day of the transfer window was full of surprising events where Real maintained its lead for highest paying club in the … [Read more...]

Suarez affirms his stay at Anfield

September 3, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Over the few last weeks, Liverpool’s dissenting striker: Luis Suarez kept saying he is happy with his current club hence there is no truth behind the news suggesting his makeshift to somewhere else. However, no one was buying his words and assuming there must have been an ongoing talk with his aspirants, and once they reach to an agreement, player would formally announce his makeshift in public. Since transfer window is now closed, Suarez sealed his words again and said he is going to anywhere. Reportedly, some high profile clubs were being linked with the Uruguayan recently including PSG, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, and not to forget Spanish giant Real Madrid, but when no one came forward and put a luring bid for the forward, he remained an English asset. Last few months have been a kind of flip flop for the 26-year-old and he kept changing his words every now and then, but when his contract’s transfer clause expired without any taker, he got assured that there is no one who is serious … [Read more...]

September 2, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Many European clubs have until been known for their mounting debts; perhaps many of them were on the edge of a bankruptcy and then European governing body UEFA took a strong corrective action called imposing Financial Fail Play whereby no club could spend more money than its income, which means, almost every club had to shorten its exaggerating buying to meet the strict requirements. These policies had become a headache for many clubs who, initially, did not take these norms seriously, but when UEFA threatened them for immediate sanctions, they had to follow the rules as far as possible. Now, the results are revealing how accurate governing body was coz according to latest financial data of 237 clubs affiliated to UEFA, a total loss has seen a drastic reduction to what it has been before FFP. Wenger promises not to panic buy

September 1, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Current transfer window is going to close coming Monday; hence every club is finalizing its pending deals, and one such league club is Arsenal. Its manager Arsene Wenger, who failed to bring several aspiring players to Holloway coz of their not so luring bids, promises he will not buy any player or revise previous failed bids in any pressure, in fact, he will not make any panic buy. Notably, his statement is important if we read it along with Club boss Ivan Gazidis words where he said they will not dither spending extra amount if any player fills their needs. Looking at Arsenal’s two failed attempts for Luis Suarez and one for Yohan Cabaye, it is widely believed that League club is wavering spending extra sum even if they are in lack of quality players coz of injuries to their regular ones. In fact, a pressure is also building up on club bosses especially Wenger to shell out more money to hire players of his choice. This transfer window has not been so successful for the Gunners coz … [Read more...]
