Gary Medel signs a four year deal with Cardiff City
The new baby to English Premier League Cardiff City has started behaving like an English club by signing Gary Medel from the Spanish football club Sevilla. The deal price given by the Malky Mackay club is around £8m and its tenure is for four years. This is perhaps the biggest buying for the club so far and they are excited to mark their first step in the league competitions. The Chilean midfielder has long been observed by the club, but only after their qualification for the EPL, they initiated their first signee of the season. Medel has shown his impressive performance in 2010 world cup playing for Chilean national team; moreover, he also played just recently against none other than Manchester United. Goal line technology has become a reality in both league and international soccer events, and ever since Hawkeye system has been approved to be used in Premier League season, everyone is excited to see its first use in one of the highly admired soccer leagues in the world.
