Zidane urges Bale to initiate his transfer to Madrid

June 16, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Can Real Madrid sign a comparable striker to that of Barca’s Neymar which was signed by their arch rival last week is a big question at the moment, coz Spanish giant is trying hard to lure Spurs to take a note on its transfer offer while on the other side, EPL club is trying hard to keep the player of the year award holder with them. However, it is also very clear that Real has apparently offered a spectacular £85 million for the 23-year-old which is more than a world record signing amount paid for United’s Cristiano Ronaldo when Los Galacticos signed him back in 2009. Now, Real Madrid sporting director Zinedine Zidane has come forward and asked Bale to initiate his transfer request to his club to fasten his transfer to La Liga club. This is something unusual where a club is pressurizing its favorite player to speed up the paper work by filing a formal request. Actually, Spurs have not qualified for the next year’s Championship League hence it is also a viable option for Bale to be in … [Read more...]

I preferred Chelsea over United: Mourinho

June 16, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It is a natural human phenomena that an individual habitually becomes loyal to someone he loves the most, it even holds true in professional soccer where top officials are always biased towards their favorite team irrespective of what other teams are willing to offer them or what would be their career prospects if they join someone else. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is one such person who has always been biased towards his London club. He, in fact, had to leave the club back in 2007 citing some misunderstandings with club owners, but still he always wanted to be at Stamford Bridge. Recently, his wish came true and he re-joined his ever wanted club on a four-year term, but now he revealed that he had several good offers from some top notch clubs but he picked Chelsea sidelining clubs like Manchester United. He claims; he knew well in advance that Sir Alex Ferguson is going to retire; perhaps he was being linked for a United’s makeshift by the media, but he rejected an offer to join EPL … [Read more...]

Owen Coyle is the new Wigan boss

June 14, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

The 46-year-old former professional footballer and ex-Bolton Wanderers Manager Owen Coyle has now joined the EPL club Wigan on a twelve months rolling contract. The news is confirmed by none other than Wigan chairman Dave Whelan who told this to BBC sport that such a deal has taken place. Coyle has been a known figure in soccer fraternity with many ups and downs in his career. Earlier, he has been Bolton manager from 2010 to 2012 but sacked from there after The Wanderers failed to save the relegation. Wigan’s former manager Roberto Martinez was also forced to leave the club after he could not deliver in the Premier League; hence it would be the same world again for the new manager coz here too he would be facing a firing weapon if he ever makes a mistake. Notably, Martinez performance with Wigan has been decent where he managed to won FA cup but failed to deliver in the Championship therefore he was forced to make a shift to Everton on a four-year contract. On his departure, Wigan … [Read more...]

Chelsea sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Andre Schurrle

Jose Mourinho finally takes charge of Chelsea’s think-tank and starts signing his notable players. Germany international forward, Andre Schurrle, who has long been a favorite for the London club, is finally a man in the Blues. Notably, Chelsea’s earlier attempt to sign him could not materialize for some reasons but now new manager tries his best and used his negotiation skills to lure Bayer Leverkusen with a £18m paycheck which is much more than 22-year old forward had earlier demanded. The promising striker has a decent track record this season and scored 11 goals in 34 league games played for his German club Bayer Leverkusen. Moreover, with a third place in the league, Leverkusen has automatically qualified for the Championship league in Bundesliga. Actually, Schurrle had some talks with Chelsea last summer too but could not finalize the deal which he later regretted. For now, he will have to go through a medical test and probably some discussions for personal terms and then he can … [Read more...]

Rudi Garcia is the new Roma coach

Soccer is a game where top performers are always on the radar of more than one clubs and Lille coach Rudi Garcia is one such soccer personality who has a proven track record on the field. He also got France’s coach of the year award in 2011; hence was a long time wish for Serie A club. The present deal is apparently for two year term but with a clause to extend it further if Roma want to and the agreed price for current deals is around 1.5 million euros per season which is much more than he has been getting at Lille.
