Neymar denies any pre-existing Barcelona deal

Neymar denies any pre-existing Barcelona deal

The promising young Brazilian forward seems to be in a mood to let his aspiring clubs be cheered a bit by refusing any existing deal with Barcelona FC. There has been some news in the media of late whereby he was predicted to leave Brazil to make a shift to Camp Nou at a heavy deal price which Blaugrana is famous for. The news of his transfer was in circulation since last October whereby his club was going to receive €10 million up front and €40 million more in summer 2013 and remaining after 2014 world cup. This news was a setback for his aspiring clubs, like Chelsea and Manchester City, who were eyeing on him since long, but after his denial, they can relax a bit and redraft their expected deal contracts to lure this young talent right in his amateur age. Neymar issued his denial via an interview given to a newspaper where he said, “I have no agreement with Barcelona or anyone else,” said the 20-year-old Brazil international after winning the newspaper’s prestigious ‘King of South … [Read more...]

Now racial abandonments to be decided by ground security in Italy

January 14, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Last week, everyone saw how Real Madrid walked out of the game citing continuous racial chanting coming from the ground. This incident was an eye opener for soccer think tanks, especially for government who took this incident more seriously than English FA. Racism has always been a part of soccer games but on English soil, it was probably the first incident where something like this happened in a European country. There were many different reactions from soccer fraternity after the incident, and prominently, a war of words has been started between Madrid owner and FIFA president coz both of them seemed to have a different opinion about Madrid’s walkout. Whereas Madrid boss has had a view that his team was right to walk off, FIFA president seemed to be in favor of finding more concrete solutions rather just leaving the ground. Now, Italian lawmakers have enacted a new rule whereby no team or player can decide to leave the ground on their own if there is a racial abusing on the … [Read more...]

Walters’ two own goals help Chelsea win 4-0 over Stoke City

January 13, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It would have been two of the most horrified moments for Stoke’s striker Jonathan Walters who ‘indirectly’ helped Chelsea in attaining a crushing victory over Stoke City on Saturday. Jonathan Walters was the player who not only missed a penalty kick but he also scored two goals in his own net: one just before the halftime and second in the 62 minute. The 29 year old striker, who has scored seven perfect goals this season, could not add more to his counting despite his good performance. This victory helped Chelsea in gaining the third spot in the EPL leaderboard right after Manchester United and Manchester City. Moreover, it is very close to second place holder: City who has 45 points out of its 21 played matches while Chelsea is just 4 points behind of it. Regardless of scoring two own goals, Walters has received support from his manager Tony Pulis who looks in no mood in penalizing his play; perhaps he praises his brave affords which could not be successful. Manager said, “We all have … [Read more...]

Mancini could offer Balotelli another chance

Mancini could offer Balotelli another chance

Italian striker Mario Balotelli is one player who could not prove his soccer brilliance at Carrington ever since he joined Manchester City. Moreover, it is not his playing abilities which cost city, but his attitude towards the game that has been a great concern for the City. Now, according to rumors, he may be given another chance to prove his conviction towards soccer and especially for City by calling him for the next City clash at Arsenal. Everybody remembers his irresponsible gameplay in the last season where his reckless behavior almost cost City an EPL title. Moreover, he has seen fighting with manager Mancini in the training ground last week, so everybody thought he would never play for the city again. But, luck seems to be in his side and that is why Sergio Aguero could not recover from his hamstring injury which gave a hope for Balotelli’s return right on time. Balotelli is the only player who has been in the news for wrong reasons – always. It may be his match performances … [Read more...]

Newcastle defender wants an immediate return to Argentina

Newcastle United’s defender Fabricio Coloccini has expressed his desire to return to his homeland as soon as possible. It is like hit and go for the defender who has always been among main line of players, especially at the time when Newcastle need him the most. He has told his manager Alan Pardew that he wants either to move to North America or his native Argentina citing his personal reasons. Though, defender has not expressed any clear cut motive about his sudden desire to leave St James' Park, yet a crisis in his personal life is believed to be the reason for his return. On the other side, Geordies are hopeful that they will come out with an agreement with him coz he has not made any formal written request to leave the club, or if not possible, they will try to keep him until the end of this season. The backdrop of current incident is being linked to his recent performances where he could not prove his brilliance on the field. However, despite his £60,000 a week tag, player … [Read more...]
