Spanish league club Deportivo La Coruna has given this unwelcomed treatment to its coach Jose Luis Oltra after their miserable performance in the Spanish league. The manager, who joined the club last season, paid the price for letting the club on the bottom with just 12 points in 17 played matches. Despite a good start, north-west club could not maintain what it should have and collected just three points out of its eight matches. With an overnight sacking, Oltra becomes the third coach of Primera Liga to be sacked in this manner. Chelsea set to sign Newcastle’s Demba Ba
As the English club Chelsea is surging in its position in the EPL’s leaderboard, it is more aggressively showing interest in signing best talent around. Under its hunt for next month’s transfer window, European champion has now targeted Newcastle United striker Demba Ba for a probable transfer deal. If it does what it wants to be, Ba will be the third player Chelsea has shown interest in. The only glitch in the contract is the price tag; Chelsea has offered a £7.5 million along with agents’ fee, but Ba’s representative seems not interested in the amount being offered by the Blues.
