Arsenal is looking for a taker of Brazilian defender Andre Santos

Brazilian defender Andre Santos became more popular for not so good reasons in Arsenal’s premium league clash with Manchester United when he swapped his t-shirt with his ex-teammate Robin van Persie in public, especially when his team was trailing by 1-0. It was not the first time when Brazilian midfielder showed his not so professional attitude in field, perhaps his out of form has now become a major concern for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who now seems to be determined to sell him out in coming transfer window, if he manages to find a buyer. It is also learned that Santos will surely be axed from Gunner’s final squad for their upcoming Champions League match against Schalke on Tuesday night. However, Wenger backed him publicly by saying that his T shirt swap in the middle is not commendable but it did not contribute to his side’s bad performance. What he said about all this was, “I spoke about that but I don't want to make too much of a big story of that," he told reporters on … [Read more...]

November 6, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

Dinamo Zagreb’s fans are banned by French Government from attending a Champions League match between Dinamo Zagreb and Paris St Germain scheduled to play on coming Wednesday. This decision is taken by French Interior Minister Manuel Valls who has a reason to believe that if these fans are allowed; they can make a disturbance in one way or other. Perhaps, Croatian authorities themselves have provided them an information about a gang named ‘Blue Bad Boys’ whose members have planned to travel and attend the match without tickets and with unfold intensions. Valls also explained the ban period which is from November 6 at midnight to November 7 at noon. Since, the so called gang has the history of violence in many previous matches; French government doesn’t want to take any risk that could cause a danger on its civilians or property. Accordingly, some 80 PSG fans were stopped on their way to Paris on the border from Slovenia; they were traveling on their rented cars. Hooligans have … [Read more...]

The most awaited soccer event, after FIFA World Cup, Euro 2016 may be far away from now, but its preparation timings are even more important at the moment. France is the host of coming mega Euro event, and as expected, its groundings are running smoothly than expected, perhaps France Football Federation’s president Noël Le Graët has expressed his satisfaction over the stadiums which are being renovated for hosting some of the most entertaining soccer events. The news is more important in the eyes of UEFA’s demand to inform it about the progress of at least nine stadiums by its Executive Committee’s meet which is scheduled to happen on January 24 next year. Swindon’s manager wants to fine players for defeat

Italian League One’s side Swindon Town’s manager Di Canio wants his players to be fined for their worst performance in a league match whereby they were surprisingly defeated by Macclesfield Town by 2-0. The legendry Di Canio, the former player of Swindon Town who has as many as 500 league appearances for the club, could not simply believe that his team can be thrown out in this fashion. The most important reason of his anger was Swindon’s substitute central midfielder: Louis Thompson, who put the ball in his own net at 90th minute though Macclesfield Town was already leading the match by then by 1-0, only goal by that time was fired by defender Tony Diagne in 63rd minute. Furious manager also asked his team to attend the training camp in early morning on Sunday. Despite his aggressive reaction to this defeat, it is very much unlikely that he would be able to impose any fine or salary cut on players coz of players protection guidelines which protect each player’s rights in case of poor … [Read more...]
