It has been confirmed by FA that Chelsea’s duo: Frank Lampard and Ryan Bertrand will not be a part of England’s squad for their next world cup qualifier match against Poland in Warsaw on Tuesday citing their injuries and illness. Earlier, they both have missed the match against San Marino too, but this time, Roy Hodgson was hopeful for their comeback for Poland clash, and unfortunately, this could not happen. Last night, Football Association issued a statement and said, “Frank Lampard and Ryan Bertrand have been ruled out of England's FIFA World Cup qualifier with Poland. Shelvey Blisses his Maiden England Cap
Jonjo Shelvey, the Liverpool midfielder, has recently played as a second-half substitute for England and made his senior debut in an England’s world cup qualifier match against San Marino on Friday night. England thrashed San Marino by 5-0 in that match and Shelvey thinks he is lucky for the team. It would rather be a lucky day for him, coz he was not in the starting lineup, but, since Frank Lampard was injured, he got his dream call to play for England’s national team. Mario Balotelli to miss world cup qualifier
The Italian national soccer team’s striker and prominent member of Manchester city club: Mario Balotelli is going to skip Italy’s world cup qualifier, which is to be played against Armenia, coz of his fever. Italian Football Federation informed about his absence from the qualifier match. Cesare Prandelli, the manager of Italian national soccer team, has already included him in his probable list of eleven players, but after his fever’s confirmation; he will be replaced with Sebastian Giovinco, who will be available for Italy by Tuesday when Italy has to face Denmark.
