Spanish footballer Thiago Alcantara, who plays for Spanish FC Barcelona as a midfielder, is all set to miss the field for at least 8 weeks due to his knee injury he got in the last match between Barcelona and Sevilla which was won by Barcelona by 3-2. The deepness of said injury was informed by the club through its statement on its website where it mentioned, “Thiago will be out for eight weeks after tests confirmed damaged ligament in his right knee. The player will undergo conservative treatment, with doctors estimating he'll be out for up to eight weeks.” The 21 years old starlet will surely miss for next two months when Barcelona will be facing Celtic. Arsenal’s Financial Results are out
Arsenal has released its financial figure for the year ended May 31, 2012 and it shows a significant improvement in profit before tax on YOY basis. Arsenal’s executive Ivan Gazidis happily maintained that the club “can and will forge its own path to success” on this occasion. According to the latest published financial statement, its group profit has been risen from last year’s £14.8million.to £36.6million this year, before tax. Though, the group’s total turnover has not increased coz of its lesser revenues from property sale this year, but since it gained significant profit from player’s trading in last summer transfer window, it could achieve an enhanced profit this year than last year. Premier League: It’s a 2-1 win for Chelsea over Arsenal
1 - 2 Chelsea remained unbeaten this season, until now even after its sixth match in the Premium League. Yesterday, it defeated Arsenal on their home ground with a 2-1 margin, and more importantly it’s their captain John Terry who gave Chelsea their winning goal. With this victory, Chelsea is leading the leaderboard with its top ranking and 16 points, and more notably; it’s still unbeatable this season!
