Neymar was more willing to join Real Madrid than Barcelona: Neymar Sr.

November 11, 2016 by 888Scoreonline

It’s unfeasible now to think Neymar can ever play for any other side than Barcelona but there was a time when this Brazilian player was keen to play for Real Madrid - not Barca - this shocking discloser has been made by the his father just recently. Had it been any other, no one would have trusted him but since Sr. Neymar is supposed to be the best one to talk about his son, it has to be trustable. Recently there have been reports in Spanish media talking about the sides who were keen to bring 24-year-old into their den and prominent of them were Real Madrid of course along with Barca's Clasico rivals, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United. Although, none of these reports has any feasibility now since former Santos player has signed another extension for the Blaugrana that will tie him with the side until 2021 disheartening all the aspiring sides willing to take him into their army. Anyways, it is obvious there would have been several sides willing to sign the sensational … [Read more...]

Expecting another commitment, Wenger stands Ozil in line with former legendary Dennis Bergkamp

Every time a side delivers unexpectedly, its credit is given to the top performers and often few of them are leveled in line with the all-time greatest of the side and this is something that seems to be happening with Arsenal who has been in tremendous form this year. They are second to Man City on the board and equal in points and their permanence is powered by the key role played by Mesut Ozil who has made an emphatic return to his form with a consistence performance throughout the season. The way he is playing these days, manager Arsene Wenger has started taking him as next legendary player in the making especially after looking at his partnership with Alexis Sanchez and he believes if he continues this tuning with 27-year-old Chilean in Sunday's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur, they can surly top the table for the first time in many years. Knowingly, Ozil contract is expiring in 2018, after having a five-year deal when he switched from Real Madrid in 2013, hence … [Read more...]

Mourinho nulls Wayne Rooney transfer rumors

It has now become a custom to link any star player with other sides if he has missed few of the important games and it holds specifically true with English clubs where fans want their players to play each game and deliver too. This is something that seems to be happening with Manchester United and its captain Wayne Rooney who was not seen in last two games and absence of any player of his caliber is easily taken as the result of growing dissent between player and the management hence it is assumed he would have been looking for an alternate and as far Rooney is concerned, few media houses recently hinted he could have been looking for other options if Portuguese keeps an ignorance on him. However, club top management has denied of anything like this happened to the Three Lions skipper and they explained Rooney did not play in last few games for his calf complaint. Knowingly, 31-year-old, in this season, has started in five of the seven games for club and country as a substitute … [Read more...]

ManU’s surprising EFL win over Man City, Mourinho dedicates it to the fans

Nothing can relieved you more than winning against your arch rivals and that too if you rival has been in a good form and you were not. This is something that seems to be happening with Manchester United and its boss Jose Mourinho who made a striking comeback in the season by crushing Manchester City by 1-0 at home. It was rather a nail biting finish but since it yielded result for a highly demotivated side like ManU, it is a crushing victory. It has been just few days passed by when this stars studded side failed to overcome Chelsea and lost the game by a big 4-0 margin and now when they defeated Manchester City and cleared the road to play in the Football League Cup quarterfinal, it is like dream comes true and this is what manager believes and Juan Mata is his hero who netted the only goal of the game and sealed a home quarterfinal against West Ham United. While it is obviously a much needed win for the Red Devils, Mourinho says players fought for their fans and answered their … [Read more...]

Zidane finds positivity in whistles over Ronaldo poor form

The game of soccer has turned out to be so demanding nowadays that fans can’t expect their star players to fail even in a single game and if a high profile player fails to deliver in two or three consecutive games, it is being taken as his failure to deliver and he starts getting negative response from the fans and this is something that seems to be happening with Real Madrid’s high profile starlet Cristiano Ronaldo who again could score a goal in the Sunday's 2-1 La Liga win over Athletic Bilbao at the Bernabeu. It has now been four games passed by 31-year-old former priciest player of the world could not connect with the opponent goalpost and this is what made home fans furious last weekend and they whistled over one of the most successful forward of contemporary soccer which is uncommon to see to all of us.
