Man City did its best to secure full points out of home game against Everton: Guardiola

Every time a side is up against anyone at home, it is supposed not only to dominate it but secure full points out of it as well, and when it fails to do so, it is taken as a big fault of it and fans do not forget these mistakes easily as well. Manchester City’s recent game with Everton at Etihad was one such game that they thoroughly dominated with more than 72% possession than their Goodison Park visitors but when they could only drew it at last, it was like a shock to all City fans who expected their side to take full points out of it. Apparently, reason for their failure to win the game is missing two penalties with Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero having their spot-kicks saved by Maarten Stekelenburg, who himself also made an incredible one-handed stop from De Bruyne's long-range strike. As far Aguero is concerned, it was his fourth penalty miss in the season and second in a week after his spot kick was saved by Paraguay goalkeeper Justo Villar in Argentina's 1-0 defeat last … [Read more...]

Anytime anyone talks about the starlets of today’s soccer, every eye triggers on the top form being shown by one of the all-time greats Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo who has ever been a lethal forward for his opponents and over the last few years, since his priciest player of the world title has been taken over by other players, his contract extension talks have been in the circulation though none of the club insiders has ever said anything about it. Jurgen Klopp has no time to celebrate his first anniversary at Anfield

English premier league has been the most difficult tourney to deliver for any manager and player hence whenever any manager joins a side he first tries to secure his place since this is perhaps the only league in the world where managers are sacked overnight for not meeting the expectations and therefore whenever anyone completes one year of his service to any side, it is like a big achievement for him and this is something that seems to be happening with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has no time to celebrate his first anniversary at Anfield who took the charge of Anfield side one year back after sacking of Brendan Rodgers.
