After banana eating by Dani Alves, now a monkey dance from Papakouli Diop

May 5, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Off late, we have seen some nasty acts of racisms not only in the stadiums but also on the play areas where targeted players somehow managed to answer deliberated fans’ moves with patience and intelligence - remember banana eating incident from Dani Alves who was widely appreciated from every corner? It now seems to be getting into fashion as we saw another instance where a player - Papakouli Diop from Levante – did something like this again when he did a brief dance after being gestured like a monkey from the stands. Actually, having these kinds of unwelcome signs is not new in soccer as we see them every other day, but what is new is the reaction from the player which was unusual in this case. This could be the byproduct of Dani Alves’ banana eating incident and its aftermath; coz Barca defender got the support over his move from throughout the world. If this is the changing trend in racism, especially in soccer, it should be welcomed by everyone as it spreads a massage that no … [Read more...]

Manchester City defeated Everton by 3-2 amid Aguero’s thigh injury

May 5, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Last Manchester City vs Everton clash could have been a jubilant affair for Manuel Pellegrini side coz they not only crushed their last tough rival in the tourney by 3-2, but also gained the top leaderboard position - something that they had been missing for quite some time now, actually they were trailing by other teams just because they played lesser number of games to others. The good news always comes with some bad traits and this is something that seems to be happened with Argentinean forward Sergio Aguero who sustained an injury in last showdown. He had to leave the field for his thigh problem in the first half and media since raising speculations whether he would be fit for next games or not. But good news is, he has nulled all these rumors and said his injury is not serious as it looked apparently, hence he would be fit by the next game with West Ham. Though, his medical reports do not say anything about his fast recovery, but close sources have said he is recovering faster and … [Read more...]

Atletico boss applauds mothers for magnificent show in this season

May 2, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

It’s time to celebrate for Atletico Madrid who is all set to face their city rival Real Madrid in the final of Champions League 2014 and team coach is applauding each and every team member, especially their mothers who nourished their children with a winning attitude. Actually, soccer is no less than a war where level of confidence plays an important role and if we look at the whole European journey of Diego Simeone’s side they have ever been a fighter. Take an example of semifinal game with league club Chelsea, particularly the moment when they were trailing by one goal on the cart, no one had then imagined that they can win this game looking at the previous games of José Mourinho’s side, but they stunned every assumption about the game and came from the back to coup one of the biggest feats on their European campaign. Even if we look at the La Liga, they are all set to face either Barcelona or Real Madrid in the final, which shows, they have actually proved their strength in front … [Read more...]

After ousted from Champions League, Chelsea could miss the league title as well

May 1, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Chelsea could have been one of the biggest discoveries for newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho who started the season brilliantly and carried it across English and European front. But, this is also a fact that his highly confident side, practically, does not have any chance to triumph any of the two titles. Recently, they were ousted from the Champions League thanks to the brilliant save from their own goalie they loaned to Atletico Madrid. Mourinho himself took that save like an ‘impossible’ one that not only dented their title hopes but also fed them their own medicine. There have been many criticisms off late when Blues raised an objection for Atletico to use its loaned players for the matches against parent side as it would be against the contract that does not allow any such participation, but when UEFA ruled out any apparent violation along with warning league side to dare imposing any penalty over Spanish side, it became clear that future loan transfers would now see a … [Read more...]

Ronaldo breaks another record on European tour

April 30, 2014 by 888Scoreonline

Real Madrid could not be among the probable winners in La Liga, but on European front, they are getting better and better with every other match thanks to their army of world class players and Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of them. Ronaldo has indeed been the follower of his arch rival Barcelona’s Messi, but since this season could not be as great for Argentine, Ronaldo is enjoying the dominance over world soccer. After winning the FIFA’s player of the year award, he attended another feat – by scoring maximum number of goals in one calendar year in the Champions League. Yes, his dual against Bayern Munich in the CL semifinal was the sixteen overpassing AC Milan’s striker Jose Altafini’s fourteen goals record he made back in 1962-63. Though, later, in 2011-12, Lionel Messi equaled his tally but Ronaldo became the first one in over five decades to score sixteen goals in one European league and counting. Ronaldo’s highly awaited fifteenth goal was his team’s third over German … [Read more...]
