Manchester City and PSG found violating FFP guidelines
It has long been supposed that no matter how many clubs are found breaching most talked about FFP rules, no one would finally be sanctioned – strictly, but this assumption is fast proving to be a wrong one – at least latest developments over the violating clubs hint this. Though, there are many clubs who are in the list of violating sides, but two of them are more noticeable than others thanks to their status in soccer fraternity and these two are league side Manchester City and French giant PSG. Both these sides are found guilty of not following any of the cost controlling measures, especially as far their under-20 team is concerned, hence FIFA has apparently offered them two choices: either accept the sanction or agree over a settlement with undisclosed terms. Accordingly the settlement agreement has been sent to both the sides to have a look and think upon before deciding over the future course of action. Knowingly, UEFA President has already said that they will not ban any side … [Read more...]
Suarez is the Professional Footballers’ Association Players’ Player for 2013-14
Liverpool’s star forward Luis Suárez perfectly demonstrated how the lives of sports stars change. He is the same man who bit the arm of a Chelsea player and faced a ten-matches suspension some twelve months back, in fact, he saw a drastically gloomy period after that including his open statement showing his dissent with club bosses or one dollar extra bid placed by Arsenal to trigger his contract clause. Thereafter, he improved, improved a lot, and showed why is among the best forwards of contemporary soccer. He got contract extension and became the eye candy for Liverpool side who is now ruling the league table this season. If experts’ predictions are to be believed, Reds could end their over two decades old title drought this season despite losing to Chelsea yesterday that put a small dent over their title hopes, and if they could win English topflight, Suarez would surely be an important contributor for this feat. Anyways, Professional Footballers' Association has already … [Read more...]

Criticisms roared in after dramatic sacking of Moyes
There has been an untold saying in England that no matter how bad you are performing in the field Manchester United is the only club who offer you enough opportunities to prove your skills, but unfortunately, this theory went wrong in case of former manager Moyes who was sacked in a hotchpotch yesterday. Initially, it was not a socking news since everyone had expected something like this - if not now than few months later, but the way Moyes is now getting the support from all over the world is rather surprising. For example, Association of League Managers has thoroughly criticized United’s behavior to handle the Scott’s career, in fact, association called it the biggest tragedy in United’s long standing history of being with its loyal players/officials. Another high point they are raising is the way manager was informed about his dismissal, coz apparently, he got the news only through media – not from the club which shows unprofessionalism from club bosses’ side. Factually, no one has … [Read more...]
