Switch lab is entrusted for World Cup blood and urine testing
Posing another blow to upcoming world cup host, FIFA has decided to test urine samples of all the players, not in Brazil, but in Switzerland – a move that can doubt Brazilian laboratory’s credential to property do the job. Apparently, it was earlier decided that all the samples would be tested in the host country at Ladetec laboratory in Rio de Janeiro, but after its accreditation was revoked by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), world’s soccer governing body decided to take the services of laboratory in the Olympic capital of Lausanne. The decision could bring a new embarrassment for Brazilian authorities as they are already under pressure after allegations of corruption in world cup expending and repeated extensions for widespread pending development work over there. WC tickets second phase sold out in seven hours
No matter how controversial it is, soccer world cup has always been a most popular sports event around the world and it is proved once again after a rapid sale of its tickets – within seven hours! It was the second phase of tickets sale and more than 230000 tickets were available in this slot, but surprisingly, they all were gone by within hours FIFA put them in sale through its website. While Brazil world cup protest is being watched by the whole world, especially by those fans who want to visit this part of the world for upcoming mega soccer event, a problem with 2018 world cup seems to be raising its head. Yes, we are talking about racism and how old this sickness has been in USSR. This time, an incident happened at 78 Spartak Moscow on Wednesday where a group of hooligans demonstrated how dangerous they can be if their demands are not met.
