No capacity extension in Luzhniki Stadium for 2018 WC final

Everyone has seen how stadiums’ renovation work is going on in the Brazil; hence no one wants to see this happen ever again in any World Cup. If we leave aside upcoming soccer’s mega event, next world cup is going to be equally electrifying coz Russian State government has promised to offer unprecedented infrastructure for the FIFA’s global event which includes a thorough upgradation of most of its stadiums where WC matches will be played. In fact, FIFA officials have already said on several occasions that preparation work is going on smoothly in Russia thanks to their Government and general public support who allowed a vast budget to be used on improving things for soccer’s mega event – something which is missing in Brazil. FIFA tightens its belt for WC preparations delay

August 3, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

FIFA, who has been criticized on several occasions by different experts of the business for giving too much leverage to Brazil, has again reiterated that WC organizers need to submit all the pending WC venues before soccer's showcase event kicks off in June 2013. Notably, there are around 12 stadiums that are still behind their schedule despite allowing time extension on more than two occasions, and according to the governing body, they want six of them completed by the end of this year. Actually, the whole drama is being taken place to hide some of the materialistic facts about upcoming world cup and one of them is extensive protests in the host country. According to a survey conducted by an independent agency, here, in Brazil, more than half of the civilians are against of hosting a mega sporting event at the cost of their day-to-day necessities. Keeping these facts apart, FIFA is trying to emphasis over how preparation work is going on there. Jerome Valcke, the secretary general at … [Read more...]

Belize players revealed of being approached for fixing

July 11, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Match fixing by organized gangs has become a major threat for soccer’s sovereignty across the world and another example of how these gangs operate is right here. Three Belize national soccer players have disclosed of an advance being made by a man before their CONCACAF Gold Cup group match. Apparently, the man wanted them to fix the match for some monetary benefits and according to Andres Makin Jr., Ian Gaynair, and Woodrow West, who were approached by the unknown man, he first tried to befriend with them and then he started revealing his intentions for the upcoming CONCACAF match. However, players denied agreeing any of his offers, in fact, they immediately parted their ways after knowing who he was. The match in question was against United States to be played on Tuesday night at Portland and later US won that match by 6-1. It could be surprising to see a big winning margin and after knowing the fixing row, it is highly possible that similar offers would have also been given to other … [Read more...]

July 7, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

Mario Balotelli has always been in the news whether he is playing for Manchester City or for his native club AC Milan. Earlier, he used to come into the limelight for his nasty behaviors; perhaps his former EPL club usually called him rather an indiscipline player, and now, he has become a worthy asset for Italian club AC Milan. Causes of his transformation from a ‘bad’ player to an excellent performer is not easily understandable, but it is clearly evident that infamous striker is touching the sky ever since he left the City for Milan back in January. Italian club finished on the third place in just concluded Confederation Cup and its forward striking lineup has been the main contributor for their brilliant performance.
