Rising 2018 WC cost is an alarming bell for Russia: Standard & Poor
The expected budget of coming Brazil 2014 World cup is around $13.6 billion and it is a known fact that Brazil is shaking all the way to provide world class infrastructure facilities amid high rising costs and internal problems over there, perhaps many of WC venues are still not ready and bypassed their due deadlines. American rating agency Standard & Poor has now warned about 2018 world cup being hosted by Russia, it said that most of the cities where matches are scheduled to play are going to face financial crunches coz of mounting cost they are going to incur. Costa Rica writes to FIFA for a replay of world cup qualifier
Can a bad weather stop a soccer match? Probably yes, probably no, but Friday’s world cup qualifier between Costa Rica and America could have been stopped due to heavy snow and bad weather conditions, as claimed by Costa Rica. Snowstorm made its influence on the game and match was more looking like an Ice football rather a normal football match which Costa Rica lost by 1-0. Now, the losing team has officially filed a complaint to supreme governing body and asked for a replay citing the bad climate conditions out there. It has also submitted supportive documents including pictures and videos that show how difficult playing conditions were there.
