Dinamo Zagreb’s fans are banned to cheer their club in Paris

November 6, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

Dinamo Zagreb’s fans are banned by French Government from attending a Champions League match between Dinamo Zagreb and Paris St Germain scheduled to play on coming Wednesday. This decision is taken by French Interior Minister Manuel Valls who has a reason to believe that if these fans are allowed; they can make a disturbance in one way or other. Perhaps, Croatian authorities themselves have provided them an information about a gang named ‘Blue Bad Boys’ whose members have planned to travel and attend the match without tickets and with unfold intensions. Valls also explained the ban period which is from November 6 at midnight to November 7 at noon. Since, the so called gang has the history of violence in many previous matches; French government doesn’t want to take any risk that could cause a danger on its civilians or property. Accordingly, some 80 PSG fans were stopped on their way to Paris on the border from Slovenia; they were traveling on their rented cars.

Hooligans have always been a major problem for every country in light of some of the worst violence in the history. So, every side wants to make it sure that a match should progress with full-on soccer ethics without any untoward happening. Still, we generally see many supporters, especially home crowd, behave very desperately when their home team is been defeated by visitors; hence most of the time it happens that authorities decide not to allow any particular class of fans to attend a match. Perhaps, sometimes, a match is played with completely closed doors, that is, without even a single spectator!

In present case too, Manuel Valls is too worried for the bad repo Blue Bad Boys possesses and in case if there happens to be aggressiveness on the field, UEFA will take it very seriously and also could take a stern action. Anyways, for the sake of the game and in everyone’s interest, it is good not to have a section of supporters rather suspending a complete match. During the ban period, border officials will take extra care to devoid any attempt by fans to enter France. Performance wise, PSG has an edge over Dinamo Zagreb considering their team’s combination and their form. In fact, PSG has also won their away fixture by 2-0 played on October 24. So, keep a tight control and enjoy the game without worrying about anything unwanted!
