In another development, Curitiba, the host of four world cup games, has finally been confirmed as one of the venues after FIFA raised some doubts over its readiness by the deadlines. It was informed by FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke, who Tweeted, “Curitiba confirmed as World Cup venue, based on the financial guarantees, the commitment by all stakeholders & progress made.
