Star players are always on radar of their aspirants; in fact, media also keep flooding rumors about their possible makeshift to somewhere else. Colombian striker Radamel Falcao is one such player who has recently been one of the most look after players in Europe, but after signing for French club Monaco on a mammoth salary, his aspirants cooled down for some time, and now, they are back as some news sources are reporting he wants to make a shift from Louis II to either England or Spain. Notably, he has recently been linked with some high profile clubs like, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Spanish giant Real Madrid, and after his departure rumors, these mega bosses are back with their luring bids for the starlet. Anyway, high spending Monaco recorded a comfortable 4-1 win over Montpellier on Sunday where Falcao scored one goal through penalty. With his in-form performance, the 27-year-old striker is heavily in demand for Falcao, and that is why, club owner, Russian businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev, himself does not want him to go to anywhere.
Last season, he was with Atletico Madrid and scored thirty goals in La Liga which made him an eye candy during transfer window, he made a shift from Atletico at a heavy £51m deal, but now, his close sources are telling he is running a dispute with his new club over his salary which lays down the base of these rumors. But, Radamel Falcao has now come forward and ruled out any truth in these media bytes, he says he is happy and satisfied playing for Falcao so there is no reason he should look for a new place. His words are copied by club boss Claudio Ranieri who also says he is happy at the club and there is no depth in all media-made stories. He, however, said, Falcao is busy these days for any long media confrontation coz he just became a father, so needs some time to thoroughly rubbish all these reports.
What coach said is, “They are just rumours, always rumours and just to make up stories. Falcao is staying here, he’s happy and his daughter was born here.”
Falcao also gave a brief interview to negate these stories, he said, “It’s a totally false article. I’m very happy at Monaco and I believe in the project. Everything is false, even the numbers quoted by the press are false. I feel great at the club and I’m going to stay here.” Claudio Ranieri also added, “What do you want me to tell you? The rumors are rumors. Falcao is staying at Monaco.”
