Filippo Inzaghi and Massimiliano Allegri’s heated Confrontation on Training Ground

Filippo Inzaghi

How a tiny matter, or rather a discussion, becomes a big issue in soccer was perfectly shown in AC Milan’s training ground where its coach Massimiliano Allegri and formal sticker and current youth team’s boss Filippo Inzaghi have had a said confrontation which was, according to them, was just an exchange of opinions without use of any abusive language whatsoever. Yet, many believe whatever they are saying now is just their deep afford to underplay the whole issue which has been heated up by the media. Basically, the current season’s performance of AC Milan has led its coach under deep pressure which could be the reason about the said clash where both legends were disagreeing on a matter. Later, both of them underplayed the whole matter through their televised interview given to Milan Channel where they said that the matter just lasted in one minute where they both were sharing their opinions – not fighting as reported by media. Reportedly, Filippo Inzaghi ignored the presence of its coach on the ground which started a visual confrontation which was seen by many. However, this confrontation was nowhere looking like a friendly matter of affairs; rather it was the bad taste of expert’s arguments where both of them were trying to show their supremacy over other.

Thereafter, when the matter spread everywhere, both Filippo Inzaghi and Massimiliano Allegri denied any such happenings; perhaps, they simply closed the matter as if it was never happened. After a short while of the incident, AC Milan’s sporting director Adriano Galliani did try hard to close the matter as soon as possible. He said later in his statement, “I spoke with both Allegri and Inzaghi and both have downplayed the incident. For me, the episode is as if it never happened.” Actually, AC Milan is facing a tough season this year, coz many of its top notch players have been sold by it in last summer transfer window, so now they are struggling in every department to outperform their opponents. Under current team’s composition, Massimiliano Allegri is under deep pressure to show his performance else he may soon be on his way, which he doesn’t want at any cost.

In current Champions League, AC Milan has just managed to have a draw in its opening match against Anderlecht. Its next match is scheduled for Sunday against Udinese, and if they manage to win that match, Massimiliano Allegri will surely be up on his confidence.
