Fulham manager praises Suarez ahead of their league tie

November 10, 2013 by 888Scoreonline

It has become a tradition in soccer these days that managers start praising best if their opponents before any crucial showdown between them. Liverpool and Fulham both have to play an important league tie on Sunday, and Fulham manager Martin Jol started admiring his old captain for his talent and charisma he enjoys on the field. Jol calls Suarez best penalty area player in the world, and when he says in the world – he means it, coz according to him no other player can capitalize penalties as fruitfully as he does. Actually, he has been with 26-year-old Uruguayan forward when he used to manage Ajax in Holland; he better knows him and how he can make a difference in their upcoming tie. Suarez has been a controversial figure off later, especially after his biting incident when he had to face a ten matches’ suspension but he stays with Afield club which is a good thing for his career, Jol said. Suarez has been famous for his biting acts on the field since long and on each occasion he got a lengthy suspension; last time when he bit PSV Eindhoven’s Otman Bakka in 2010, he got thorough support of his then manager Martin Jol who will be facing him this time.

According to him, Suarez is the finest soccer talent being played in England, but his club is not giving him what he deserves. Looking at the vibes of Fulham manager, he looks to be interested in striker and that is why he is preparing a ground for further makeshift talks, Anyways, this is not new in soccer these days and even Suarez knows this; hence he is just concentrating on their next game with his praising ex-manager.

Jol keeps describing Suarez in a great detail and said, “He’s a lot different off the pitch. He’s actually quiet. He’s not outspoken. He’s not someone who will fight people but on the pitch he wants to win. I can remember in the World Cup he saved the goal and it was ridiculous because he was like the goalkeeper and then there was a penalty and he was sent off and then he was cheering when they missed it.

“He’s a winner. He’s a team player. That is the great thing. It’s not about him. He’s always happy for his team and for other players to do well. That is the strange thing because normally they have a big ego but he’s a good boy.”
