It’s a 2-2 Draw in Everton vs. Newcastle match

September 19, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

Everton Newcastle

It was a perfect soccer night yesterday when Everton vs. Newcastle played a thrilling match which was alive until the last second of the match. However, it was rather a sad or some call it an unlucky day for Everton, coz there were many decisions which happened to be against them but anyhow this is the excitement of an ideal Premier League match that seamlessly displayed why this series is so favorite and charming. Last night, the final result was a 2-2 draw though during the whole match Everton were the predicted winners, perhaps they would have won the match if some decisions have not gone against them. Even, there were two headers which were legal goals in many eyes but in the eyes of assistant referee they both were offside. Many experts were almost sure that these headers were genuine and accurate but assistant referee has had some different opinions. That is how Everton were deprived of their two sure goals. Anyways, referees are also human beings and they are as prone to do mistakes as anyone in the world.

The first half of the match ended with 1-0 lead to Everton. Actually, this lead could have been more added if those poor decisions could have been made accurately. Nonetheless, second half proved to be a tight gameplay when Demba Ba joined Newcastle as a substitute striker, he leveled the lead in no time; perhaps, he was the only player who changed the mood of the match completely. Then another bad luck came for Everton when Fellaini’s header was wrongly declared as offline by referee. During last moments of the match, Everton’s Victor Anichebe scored another goal for Everton through his pumped-up kick. Even this time too Demba Ba leveled the score in no time.

Conclusion

This match was a learning lesson for both teams. While Everton can surely blame its luck and some poor decisions for the draw, Newcastle should credit their substitute striker: Demba Ba, who leveled the scores two times in the game. Performance wise, this result should be satisfactory for both teams except those undesirable judgments. Importantly, Demba Ba would surely gain much after his magnificent game performance; perhaps, he can be in the team next time, rather substituting someone on the field. Rest is what we saw the dramatic end of a stunning soccer display in the premier league.
