During a transfer window every side has few aspiring players who were on their radar to replace the existing and non performing players and if any side signs a new player, it becomes very difficult for the underperforming player to secure his position and these are the crucial moments for him as well coz a minor mistake could cost him his future and this is something that seems to be happening with Manchester City’s 29-year-old goalkeeper Joe Hart who is going to have his contract expire at the Etihad Stadium. Like always, taking it as an opportunity to have an aggressive statement from the player, media geeks are repeatedly asking provocative questions about his future and where he is now heading to. But seeing the importance of each of its media byte at this time, Joe Hart remained tight-lipped after possibly playing his last game for Manchester City Wednesday night. Although, Hart has made his start of the season during City clash with Steaua Bucharest that his side won by a big 6-0 on aggregate and advanced to the group stage of the Champions League.
But after Claudio Bravo is set to complete his move from Barcelona later this week, Hart could well be released by the side by the end of current transfer window. Talking about his future, Hart said in an interview, “We all know there’s a situation going on. It’s a situation — you know, we’ve got a top manager who the club have wanted for a long time. But I feel that inside — outside of all the circus — we’re handling it well as a good team with a good management staff. Outside all the charades and all the rubbish that’s talked, we’ll find a solution. It’s not for me to say what it is.”
Recalling the moments when fans were chanting in his support at the Etihad Stadium asking club think-tank to keep him playing in the season ahead, he calls it emotional moments and added, “Yeah it does. It’s a special place for me, it’s a place I love to be, but we’re men and we get on with it. That was a really special night for me. I’ve had a lot of good nights in football but it was a really nice night.”
While Guardiola denies accepting Hart’s time is up at the club, he said, “I know that Joe is a legend, I know how important he is to this club. He’s part of the history. He knows when I arrived, my decisions, what I think about that.”
