John Terry Quits International Football

September 25, 2012 by 888Scoreonline

John Terry

John George Terry, the former captain of England’s national football team and Chelsea has decided to finally quite the international football over his racial criticisms in the recent past. Considering his age of just 31 years, England has lost an elite member of its national team and all coz of his own on/off field behaviors. John Terry has several charges of racial remarks and one of them was against Anton Ferdinand in a match between Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers last October. Though, he was cleared by the court for said comment in July this year, but another similar case is yet to start in Football Association’s disciplinary hearing. Said hearing was supposed to be started on 25th September, but the star footballer decided to resign from international games even before FA could start its case against him. John Terry has as many as 78 playing caps for England and over 500 match appearance for Chelsea. For the record, he has been the most successful player for Chelsea winning it as many as ten leagues’ titles during his career.

John Terry has seen many ups and downs throughout his career and most of his downs were coz of his own immoral behaviors against other teams. One of the most infamous incidents was, as told, against Anton Ferdinand where video footage proved that he used racial abusive language to Ferdinand for which he had to remove from England captaincy for the second time. Moreover, FA also disqualified him for the captaincy until he comes clean from his all racist allegations. His fans blamed his own conducts for his shortened career which could have spanned across several more years. Avram Grant, the former Chelsea manager comes forward in Terry’s support and denies him being a racist, he said, “Nobody thinks John Terry is a racist. The FA need to leave it.I think the message was clear and I don’t think they need to charge him. For the FA, the more important thing is the message that it will not have racism in sport.”

Besides his fans and supporters, there is another lobby which is favoring the said action against Terry and covertly agrees about his decision to leave international football for the sake of Football. The final verdict of latest hearing is yet to come, but everybody seems to be having his own opinions and if he has used racist remarks, he should be corrected for his wrongdoings – this is what anti racial community believes.
